Hanging w/ Caiden after he got his new eye. K, so he wasn't the most cooperative but we got him to laugh nonetheless :) I love that kid and his family! His brother Bretten and sister Josi are the cutest kids ever and of course Caiden is too! Love that red hair!!

So, what did you think of "Pirates"?
I need to watch 1 & 2 again to give it a fair review... I've only seen 1 & 2 a couple times, so the 3rd was hard to follow at times for me. I want to sit down and have a Pirates party and watch all 3 on a cold rainy fall day or dreary winter afternoon.
But I will say that after seeing it, I did not walk away from it saying, "Now that is a good movie" b/c I didn't. Pirates 1 was the best of them all (as that is usually the case). So that's my review so far.

Plus I was extremely tired when I saw it and had my mind in other places while I watched it... So that didn't help either. It deserves another go around. I did enjoy it tho inspite of all I've said about it. Just need another go around :)
I thought it was a well done movie. I think all three were well done and carried a storyline throughout each (not just a sequel for the sake of it).
Visually it was definitely stunning!
I wasn't crazy about all the weird spiritual stuff throughout, it seemed they pushed it the hardest in this film. I could have done without the creepy witch lady. But, it is just a fantasy film.
A "Pirates party" sounds fun, it would be a whole day event with those three films ;)
Have you seen the third Spiderman? I enjoyed that one more. Another great franchise.
